Hylatechnik Hyla-Lift is a portable hydraulic die separator cart. The cart is used for die setting and die separation. Hyla-Lift replaces sledge hammer and crowbar, saves working time and protects tool guides.
The four lifting cylinders have exact parallel motion even with unequal tool loads. This allows the operator to release the tool jam and lift the upper plate level. Unequal distances between tool top and base are equalized with the adjustment screws. Longer separating strokes than the actual cylinder stroke allows are achieved by repeated lifting and supporting action. The cart is available in three different lifting capacities, 10, 30, or 40 tons.

Hydraulic Press Products — Die Splitter Turnover Device
The Universal 1972 Die Splitter/Turnover Device is the ideal equipment for testing and spotting dies. The up and down movement of the upper plate is driven through two ball bearing screws connected by two gear motors with two encoders for perfect synchronization. The upper cross member can be rotated by 180° allowing work to be preformed quickly and safely. Dies are split and turned over quickly in under 2 minutes and safely without injury to workers.
The hydraulic power unit drives the rotation of the upper cross member and provides the power for the lower plate to slide out of the machinery. The parallels with “T” slots for die clamping of upper and lower tooling can be moved in order to install dies of different dimensions. These parallels move easy on the ball bearings supports.
Designed to perform several operations without having to use other tools: – Testing the mechanical operation of a tool without having to use a costly traditional press – Changing versions on dies without having to stop the press for longer than is needed to remove the tool – Enabling just one operator to open and split the two sections of the die without having to use jacks or bridge-cranes – Quickly turning over, in total safety, the top part of the tool without exposing personnel to the risks which this operation involves

Boasting a retention force of up to 101,000 lbf., the clamp hydraulically holds the piston rod in whatever position it is in at that particular moment without having to generate extra power (no extra energy) for an unlimited period of time. The HYTORC-check valves are available with a screw-in or caged design. Even so, both designs can be obtained in two flow directions: with the screw-in direction closed or with free-flow. The spherical cap remains reliably tight in every position, in case of multiple switching cycles and under severe stress.
The HYTORC check valve easily screws into a regular hole (Dimensions screw-in drill). The screw-in check valves are sealed through an edge sealing which is turned to the cage. The edge sealing, together with the drill draft, forms a gap-free chamber for the O-Ring. The gap-free chamber and the O-Ring are repeatable sealing.
The valve is made of a high-strength hardened steel. Moreover, the ball seat is specially treated and the patented spherical shell is manufactured with a high tensile hardened and polished ball bearing ball. The Hydrower rubber compensators are elastic pipe joint couplings with rotating SAE and DIN flanges. The compensators are designed to absorb vibrations (noise reduction) as well as axial and radial stress.
Design: The surface of the rubber compensators is smooth on the in- and outside incorporating two-fold high strength plies of fabric. The outer rubber, made of Neoprene, is weather resistant and protects the inner pressure bearer from ageing, wear and corrosion. The inner rubber is made of nitrile rubber (Perbunan, a Buna variety). The compensators have rubber reinforcements vulcanised on both sides. These reinforcements have two lips and an inclined ridge for better sealing. Further sealings are not necessary.

The Hytorc shut off valves are mainly conceived for installation into pump suction pipes. The basis line has a SAE-connection shape with connection dimensions according to SAE-standard J518 – 3000 psi. After loosening the pipeline or the elastic pipe connection the shut off valve remains fixed to the part to be closed by fixing screws in the SAE-connection shape.
The inner diameter of the shut off valve is enlarged by the plate and threshold level diameter so that the free cross section complies to the nominal width. The plate and the threshold are formed to avoid a spin of the oil stream. A bolt which automatically snaps in any switch position guarantees arrestoring in any switch position. The bolt snaps into the switch plate which is fixed in a way that it cannot be lost, so that the shut off valve is always arrestored even without shifter.
Various additional flanges and parts make direct boltening to the oil tank (T-flange) or the installation into a pipeline (tapped bushings) possible. Due to the lateral openings (Ø 0) it is possible to fix the shut off valve between flanges or heavy (long) suction pipes can be held by additional screws. The shut off valves can be equipped with a limit switch, which is operated through the unloosable switch plate which is fixed so that it cannot be lost. Explosion-proof limit switches are possible.
